Our Client Partner is looking for a Business Financial Analyst to support financial forecasting and strategic business planning for SMEs. The right candidate will love financial forecasting, business strategic planning and speak, write and present in English fluently.

Our client partner is a US-based business and financial advisory firm that supports small business owners with hands-on financial planning, forecasting, and strategy. Their team combines experience in accounting, tax, cash flow modeling, and business development to help clients increase profit, predict cash needs, and make data-driven decisions. They focus on clarity and trust, working closely with clients to deliver actionable insights and long-term growth guidance.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client Interaction and Reporting
- Attend client meetings, taking detailed notes on business planning and financial trends.
- Follow up with clients for additional financial or planning information as required.
- Schedule monthly client meetings, acting as a project manager to ensure all monthly engagement milestones are met.
Financial Forecasting and Modelling
- Prepare and update financial models for clients, including profit and loss statements, cash flow, and balance sheets, using tools such as LivePlan and custom spreadsheets in Excel and Google Sheets (training to be provided).
- Develop strategic business plans for clients to align with financial goals and KPIs.
Monthly Close and Variance Analysis
- Coordinate with the accounting department to monitor the monthly financial close process.
- Perform variance analysis, comparing actual monthly performance against forecasts or budgets.
- Prepare insights on variances and trends for review with the Director of Forecasting, and present findings in client meetings.

- Take on a leadership role in client performance review meetings.
- Lead strategic planning sessions with clients to align forecasting with objectives.
