About the Role
This role is ideal if you’re an experienced project manager with technical expertise in fibre/wireless communications and want to work with an international company while staying based in Macedonia.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end management of broadband, wireless, and fiber optic projects, including those funded by NTIA, USDA, FCC, CPUC, or similar government programs.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risk management, and reporting for multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.
- Ensure all reporting meets client, contractual, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate field operations, permitting, and construction teams
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage subcontractors effectively
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Provide transparent communication to clients, tribal stakeholders, and funding agencies, including progress reports, risk mitigation, and financial tracking.
- Drive the completion of detailed documentation needed for federal and state audits, compliance reviews, and grant closeouts.
What You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience in wireless communications, broadband, or related industries
- Strong understanding of wireless technologies including LTE/5G, fixed wireless, and fiber
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage complex projects and teams across multiple locations
Bonus If You Have
- Experience working with public sector clients
- Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
- Knowledge of US permitting and regulatory processes
