Our client partner is looking for a Junior Financial Planner and is willing to pay for the successful candidate to obtain a Certified Financial Planner accreditation and eMoney (https://emoneyadvisor.com/).

Responsibilities

As a Junior Financial Planner, you will assist the Managing Director in developing and managing client financial plans, handling regulatory requirements, and supporting client relations. Specifically, you will:

Financial Planning Support

  • Assist in the development and review of financial plans, covering goals such as investments, cash flow, retirement, and estate planning.
  • Conduct financial analyses, including scenario modeling, risk assessment, and goal tracking, to provide actionable insights.

Compliance & Operations Support

  • Track and manage compliance calendar deadlines, supporting regulatory adherence in collaboration with legal partners.
  • Participate in quarterly compliance audits and annual reviews to identify and address compliance gaps.
  • Maintain client documentation, CRM and update communication materials.

Client Relations Support

  • Facilitate client onboarding, preparing welcome kits, service agreements, and compliance disclosures.
  • Support ongoing client communication, providing quarterly performance reports and updates on market conditions.
  • Schedule regular client check-ins and ensure response to inquiries within 48 hours.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in financial planning, compliance, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial planning tools and CRM platforms
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines
