At Tradewind, we were looking to hire a variety of roles both technical and customer facing. We have experience recruiting offshore talent in a variety of other countries but never Macedonia. We were attracted to Macedonia based on its reputation for strong educational institutions attractive wages, a culture that includes a strong work ethic, and very strong English language skills and familiarity with American culture.

We chose to work with Connect for a variety of reasons. The first is that we were looking for a boutique partner who could help us navigate the challenges that always arise when building teams in a new country. Both owners of Connect are fluent English speakers both having lived in English speaking countries for many years. Not only does that make communications very easy, it also means we do not need to explain our business and how American consumers interact with our type of company.
